Premiera nowego serialu „Ragdoll” na kanale BBC First

Policjanci trafiają na ślad makabrycznej zbrodni. Pod sufitem jednego z mieszkań znajdują sześć ciał zszytych w jedną „szmacianą lalkę”. Choć makabryczny, premierowy serial „Ragdoll” nie daje się od siebie oderwać.

Mroczny i trzymający w napięciu thriller jest adaptacją prozy Daniela Cole’a opracowaną przez scenarzystę Freddy’ego Syborna („Obsesja Eve”, „Sex Education”, „Złe wychowanie”). Do rozwikłania sprawy tytułowej lalki zbrodni przydzielony zostaje niedawno przywrócony do pracy w londyńskiej policji sierżant Nathan Rose. Dołączają do niego: najlepsza przyjaciółka i jednocześnie szefowa – inspektor Emily Baxter – oraz nowy w jednostce detektyw Lake Edmunds. Morderca drwi ze śledczych, wysyłając im listę swych kolejnych ofiar, wśród których jest nawet nazwisko sierżanta. Zespół wkrótce znajdzie się pod ogromną presją opinii publicznej. Serial nie tylko pozwala zagłębić się w pracę wydziału dochodzeniowo-śledczego, ale pokazuje też psychologiczne skutki obcowania na co dzień z traumatycznymi wydarzeniami.

“Ragdoll” – news series premiering on BBC First

Police officers are on the trail of a gruesome crime. They find a “ragdoll” made up of six different bodies suspended from the ceiling of an apartment. Despite the macabre, “Ragdoll” is a truly captivating series.

This dark and suspenseful thriller is based on Daniel Cole's novel, which was adapted for television by screenwriter Freddy Syborn (“Killing Eve”, “Sex Education”, “Bad Education”). Sergeant Nathan Rose, recently reinstated to the police department in London, is assigned to solve the case of the eponymous doll. He will be joined by: his best friend and boss – Inspector Emily Baxter – and a new detective in the unit, Lake Edmunds. The killer mocks the investigators, sending them a list of his next victims, including the name of the sergeant. The team will soon be under enormous pressure from the public. The series not only allows the audience to delve into the work of the investigative department, but also shows the psychological effects of dealing with traumatic events on a daily basis.  

“Ragdoll” will be aired on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. on BBC First.
