Every weekend in September, CBS Europa invites viewers to the series “Autumn rendez-vous with the stars”. From Friday to Sunday, the audience will see films starring extraordinary actresses such as Kate Winslet, Resse Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson and Annette Benning. Among them, for instance: “Revolutionary Road” – a moving drama that is a study of relationship breakdown; “Just Like Heaven” – a fantasy film depicting a love story on the border between two worlds; “Hope Springs” – a romance about an older couple who decide to go to therapy to reignite the spark in their relationship, and “American Beauty” – a controversial drama about the forbidden affection of a midlife crisis man for his teenage daughter's friend that still evokes strong emotions.
