BBC Earth świętuje 99. urodziny sir Davida Attenborough

Jeden z najbardziej uwielbianych prezenterów telewizyjnych na świecie – tak bez wahania można określić Sir Davida Attenborougha, który 8 maja świętował swoje 99. urodziny. Z tej okazji BBC Earth przygotowało specjalne pasmo programowe, w ramach którego w dniach 5–9 maja widzowie mogli obejrzeć jedne z najciekawszych produkcji tego wybitnego przyrodnika.

Historie ze świata natury, opowiadane przez Sir Davida z charakterystycznym ciepłem i ujmującym stylem, od dekad pobudzają wyobraźnię milionów ludzi na całym świecie. Inspirują kolejne pokolenia, pomagając lepiej zrozumieć planetę, na której żyjemy.

W ramach urodzinowego pasma na antenie BBC Earth zaprezentowano cztery wyjątkowe filmy dokumentalne: „David Attenborough: Życie w kolorze”,  „Attenborough i jurajski potwór morski”,  „Attenborough i olbrzymi dinozaur z Patagonii” oraz „Attenborough i śpiew natury”.

Każdy z nich ukazuje inne oblicze przyrody – od barw jako narzędzia przetrwania, przez fascynujące badania skamieniałości, aż po niezwykłe dźwięki świata natury.

Urodzinowe pasmo zostało wsparte działaniami promocyjnymi na profilach BBC Earth Polska na Facebooku oraz BBC Studios Polska. na Instagramie. Sam Sir David otrzymał setki serdecznych życzeń od polskich fanów – zarówno z kraju, jak i z zagranicy.

Obchody jubileuszu spotkały się z dużym zainteresowaniem mediów. Życzenia składali m.in. popularni influencerzy, tacy jak Make Life Harder, czy „Dr z TikToka”. Informacje o urodzinach legendarnego przyrodnika pojawiały się również w stacjach telewizyjnych i radiowych, które podkreślały jego nieoceniony wkład w popularyzację nauki i ochronę przyrody.

W piątek 16 maja o 12:25 na antenie BBC Earth ponownie będzie można zobaczyć wyjątkowy dokument "Attenborough i śpiew natury".

 

BBC Earth celebrates Sir David Attenborough’s 99th birthday

One of the world’s best-loved TV presenters undoubtedly is Sir David Attenborough, who celebrated his 99th birthday on 8 May. To mark the occasion, BBC Earth prepared a special programme block where viewers could watch some of that outstanding naturalist’s most interesting productions from 5 to 9 May.

Stories about nature told by Sir David with his characteristic warmth and engaging style have captured the imagination of millions around the world for decades. They inspire next generations, helping to better understand the planet we live on.

As part of the birthday block, four unique documentaries were presented on BBC Earth: “Life in Colour with David Attenborough”, “Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster”, “Attenborough and the Giant Dinosaur” and “Attenborough’s Wonder of Song”.

Each showcases a different facet of nature – from colours as a survival tool, through the fascinating study of fossils, to the extraordinary sounds of the natural world.

The birthday block was supported by promotional activities on the Facebook profiles of BBC Earth Poland and BBC Studios Poland and on Instagram. Sir David himself received hundreds of warm wishes from Polish fans – both at home and abroad.

The anniversary celebration attracted a lot of media attention. Birthday wishes were shared by popular influencers, including Make Life Harder and “Dr z TikToka”. Information about the legendary naturalist’s birthday also appeared on television and radio stations which highlighted his invaluable contribution to popularising science and nature conservation.

On Friday, 16 May, at 12:25, BBC Earth will again feature the unique documentary “Attenborough’s Wonder of Song”.
