Interia will acquire 70% of shares in Antyweb directly, with the remaining 30% remaining in the hands of the site's current owners. Antyweb.pl is one of the most popular Polish websites devoted to new technologies. The site was founded in 2006 as a blog run single-handedly by Grzegorz Marczak, who currently serves as editor-in-chief and head of the site. The site specialises in creating original and independent content, yet aimed at a wide audience. The range of articles covers the areas of consumer electronics, gaming, new media, the IT industry, start-ups, science and telecommunications. More than 15 authors are currently working with the site.
